(Redraft for logical error)

Sometimes I think it's just as delusional to think there is nothing that is objectively good or evil as to believe that there is only good and evil. Black and white, are after all, shades of grey.

@sfleetucker "Good" and "evil" are matters of perspective, and I think there's too much nuance to account for when it comes to defining either in most things.

My biggest problem is with fanaticism. Once someone decides that they're good and everyone else is evil, that's when they're closer to evil than they realize—and that applies to just about every side of every issue.

Our history is rife with atrocities committed in the name of righteous justice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@kel That's the opposite delusion that everyone is entirely good or evil, which is exactly what's happening in MAGA world right now, where the slightest disagreement with the dear leader is treason.

I'd argue in almost every case that the degree of fanaticism so described is "entirely evil" in and of itself and that it is the ideology that needs to be destroyed.
