@XSGeek As someone who used to administer classic source control systems (RCS, CVS, SVS, Clearcase, P4, ...), it took me a very long time to wrap my head around git. Years, in fact, and I'm still not an expert at it.

You have to invert your thinking to get anywhere and that's hard. Don't give up.
