I've never seen these photos. Are these Mapplethorpes?
"Mapplethorpe was engaged in an unrelenting pursuit of beauty, but he was also plagued by contradictions. Manichaean struggles are ever-present in Mapplethorpeโs black-and-white photographs, flitting between prurience and piety. "
Very cool!
That situation is definitely different. I've never lived in an environment of that sort. Just blizzards and tornados in IN and blizzards in CO but none of those required me to stock up.
The Pink Flamingo of Tucumcari
Same here but Iโve never panic bought even when a nasty winter storm was forecast. I canโt stand to be out in public when people are wigging out.
Iโve never done anything like that before. Nope. Not ever. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
I was devastated when he died. I was watching morning news before heading to school, (I was a senior in high school), when the announcement was made. ๐ข

Had to go look that up on YouTube because I've never heard of him. I can see why you had to dance. LOL
Four years old?!? And birthday money at that age? Damn, I'd have liked to have your childhood!
I can't remember exactly how old I was when I bought my first album but it definitely wouldn't have been for several more years. I think it might have been Andy Gibb's Shadow Dancing, which I still have, and if so then it was '78 and I'd have been eight.

Watched a smidge of Rupert and I wanna know who the blue critter is!
It cleared itself up. Thanks again!
