My ability to pay attention and read completely has gone out the window. I didn’t notice that making Dijon mustard takes so much mustard powder. 😵 I probably only need 1/2 a cup but daaaamn, I need to buy more mustard. Today. Oh, and not Penzey’s because there’s no longer a store here. 😞

Neither monsters are thrilled with the time change.

Cooked up an easy dinner: Trader Joe’s Chicken Teriyaki, (added the onions and peppers), Bibigo Korean mini wontons, and rice.
One of these days I’m going to remember to buy a bottle of sake. Years ago while living in Indianapolis, I went out to dinner with co-workers to an Asian restaurant and one of the gals got a pineapple sake and let me try it. It was awesome! Naturally, I forgot to get the name of it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

My knowledge of the types of cuts of pork and chicken beef is improving, albeit at a snails pace. Soooo, my mom gave me a huge piece of meat labeled simply as “pork roast.”
I’m wanting to use it to make a couple of different shredded pork fillings but the recipes call for pork butt roast. Can you tell if this 👇🏻the same thing? Photos of types of cuts, it looks like it could be sirloin pork roast.

and they had one of my posters. They said they're pretty sure it's the one under their car and I followed them over to their house and I could hear the fur monsters mewwwing up a storm. Took him a while to crawl out, poor fella was so scared. But he's home and just swallowed a 5oz can of soft food.

I smuggled the heating pad away, set it up on my left hip, snuggled under the throw, and now I have a hunky warm Tuxie spread across my hip and curled up. ☺️

Had so much fun tonight getting to know my somewhat-still-new neighbor. Turns out we’ve got a lot in common, (we’re the same age), which led to lots of “Noooo! Me too!” and “Do you remember…? when talking about Denver because we both lived there. 😊
