Sometimes it seems like we do, such as how Germany kept the horrors of WWWII in the faces of its citizens but then people forget and yeah, we’re back to square one. 😞
@see_the_sus I was incredulous when we were conned into the Iraq war, after the lessons "learned" in Vietnam. I have since lowered my expectations
The problem about Vietnam and every other war that America has entered, (or started), is that none of them have affected us here on our soil. Sure, Americans got killed or came back injured for life, but that’s easy for most folks to ignore when it doesn’t impact them.
