Reminiscing of my days hiking in the Colorado Rockies. 1990
Indian Peaks Wilderness: 73,391 acres with over 50 lakes, 28 trails covering 133 miles, and six passes across the Continental Divide.
Thanks so much ☺️
That’s cool! I never have trail guides. We normally just followed signs for such-and-such trail and went off for an afternoon. I miss the smell of the woods, the Quakies, the quiet.

That area is great for that! It's so interlaced with trails, you'll come out sooner or later. 😉 I know what you mean about the smell and the quiet, I love the mountains! ❤️
I was a little psycho back then, used to go on 3+ day winter camping trips on skis and snowshoes. Slept in snow caves most of the time. Good thing I had good psycho friends to go with me! 😂
Of course, I'm no less psycho now. I've just learned to hide it better, and found four-wheeling is easier. 😉 😂

You do beautiful work! 😍
That's my old stomping grounds! I was very active up there mid '80s through mid '90s. Wouldn't be surprised if we passed each other on a trail, or even shared a cup of tea!
Check out this old relic, I still keep it with my outdoor stuff. 🏔️
