My dad bought season tickets for all the Oakland Coliseum teams when it first opened. In 1972, I was at the playoff game when the A's won the pennant. Many years of memories for me, as well. Bittersweet is a great word for the A's departure.

@wolfwoman I know my Uncle is going to be having a difficult time with them leaving. I don't know for sure but I think he has been a season ticket holder since the beginning. Or at least since the early 80's.
