Lack of sleep Saturday night worrying about my boyfriend stuck in a ditch driving home from Michigan (he actually was) and lack of my humidifier (let my mom borrow it) have made me feel poopy again. Time to continue the Bond marathon in my fuzzy robe on the couch.

Saw the absolute most perfect wonderful couch in HomeGoods today and it was on clearance. Only major downside is it would never fit up the stairs where I want to put it. Why must I live in an old house with narrow stairs and impossible to pivot doorways??

Yaaay we got the snow blower working now that the snow is over and we don't need it. Ya know.. like ya do.

I need to think about starting to shovel outside since I couldn't get the snowblower running. But my bed is warm and outside is cold.

My boyfriend was driving back from Michigan after dropping his daughter back off at college and made it all the way to New York before sliding into a ditch. His insurance was going to send a tow truck, but it was going to take almost 2 hours. State trooper rolls up with a tow truck in less than 30 minutes. Bam. He's on his way back now.

Snow started in my part of CT around 6 and was barely flurrying at that point. It's ramped up since then to a good coating on the road out my front window. The view from our side porch. (Camera is there to catch critters trying to get in the garbage.)
