@amarand They sell a sealer just for them that's essentially a clear glue with a sponge applicator.. but I'm not a fan of it. It's too hard to tell where you've already put it. I prefer using Mod Podge because I can see where I'm putting it and it dries clear. It's similar to gluing puzzles together permanently.

Of course Zachary Quinto would make me cry within minutes of the first episode of his new show. Dang it.

I always have a hard time deciding what to read next, so I filled an old gumball machine with the names of all the books I have so I don't have to think about it. I keep thinking though that next year maybe I'll go through all the Terry Pratchett books I have and finally read them all. I need a goal.

The actress playing Disa is amazing and absolutely gorgeous. I love every scene she's in.

Tom Bombadil is giving some serious Hagrid vibes. It's gotta be the accent. Some of the things he says sounds just like Robbie Coltrane.

FB memories showed me this picture of Nimoy curled up in the recliner with my dad. He definitely misses him too. He pulls toward older men on walks like he's checking to see if it's him. This was probably one of the last photos while my dad was still home.

Today was quite a day. I'm really not a fan of my coworker on Wednesdays having to leave 2 hours early to get her boyfriend's kids off their bus because that's inevitably when the shit hits the fan and I'm running around like a lunatic. I was there past closing by myself trying to finish a bunch of tasks and the technicians were just like "K, byeeee!" ๐Ÿ˜ž And they wonder why front desk never wants to help them.

Listening to a podcast and one of the guys just said "if I wear white underwear, it looks like I've been sitting on the knee of a chimney sweep all day." and I was not prepared for the reaction I was going to have to that. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm so tired. My boss never officially asked me to come into work early tomorrow.. so I really don't think I should. I don't feel like a 12 hour workday.

I walked so much and ate some delicious overpriced pierogi, an equally delicious cheap cheeseburger and the quintessential fried dough to benefit the local Lions Club and some awesome pumpkin cold brew coffee from a local coffee shop that has their own giant purple coffee truck. This year was all about the food and not so much about buying stuff I don't know what to do with.

It's my town's annual fall festival today. The Pumpkin Festival. I've gone almost every year for most of my life. I wonder what I'll find this year.

What random little thing did you get excited about today? I'll go first. I bought some single serve drink mixes on a whim because the online reviews were great and holy crap. They're delicious and I'm way too psyched about it. If you're curious to try as well, the brand is Klass.

@Kaysymmetry the burnout is real. I did it for 2 years when my dad had Alzheimer's and was still home with us before he passed. Myself, my mother and sister were always *exhausted.* And when there's no time or way to get a break for yourself it fucking sucks.

I felt absolutely fine all day at work, despite how crazy it was, but I swear the instant my boyfriend picked me up at 2 and we came home I've felt increasingly worse. Fantastic. Time for couch parking and book reading for the rest of the night I guess.

@amarand I really like the ones from paintwithdiamonds.com/

They give you everything you need with each kit. Plus they have an "oops" guarantee like if you spill the gems and need to get replacements. It happens. ๐Ÿ˜‚

@amarand I think I discovered this hobby around the same time Covid hit and I've done a bunch of them since. So relaxing.
