Flipped the calendar page for tomorrow already. Not disappointed.

These pictures of my dad came up in my FB memories recently and I'm over here like 😭😭😭. I could really use his enthusiastic Alzheimer's lawn mowing right about now.

Ok, my mom literally just said "See, those must be may pinks." I don't think she even knows what they are and she's just guessing. 😂

My mom thinks every flower she sees might be "may pinks." Can't convince her otherwise. I give up.

Why in the world do podcast ads have to be SO LOUD!? We shouldn't have had to fight to have them fix the TV ones (yeah, I'm that old) just to have the podcast and streaming ones 10x louder than the content. Good lord. All it does is make me determined to skip it. That does the ad people no good anyway.

Finished my A to Z Reading Challenge from last year and this was the first book I drew from my "Goblet of TBR." Off on another adventure!

@amarand I had seen most of it up until it moved to Netflix. So that's what part I've been watching.

I guess I'll use the opportunity of my boyfriend falling asleep after lunch to catch up on episodes of stuff I'm trying to finish watching. I've got 9 more to go of Arrested Development and it's finally done.

Well that's a surprise. The book I chose is one of the random signed ones I've gotten from used book stores. Sad for whoever Cait is, that he signed it for. I wonder if she misses it.

Picked my next book from the "Goblet of TBR" that I've come to call the glass I filled with rolled up papers with my unread books on them. This way I can force myself to pick one.

My mom is a bit of a hoarder. She definitely gets it from her father. He kept everything because it might be useful (and he often did use them). She keeps everything for the same reason, but she NEVER actually uses anything. After my dad passed, their bedroom became the "put it in there, I'll sort it later" land where everything disappeared to. Today she finally let me help her start clearing it out. It's been a year and some months. So much left to do too.

McGee figured out his food puzzle.. but he's decided he's too good for this torture.

@amarand That's why I went with it. His pointy ears screamed Spock to me, but that doesn't really work so much as a dog name. Nimoy is easier to yell at him when he's being naughty. 😂 The rescue I got him from was calling him Paco. 👎

Just feeding the critters is so wholesome in this game.

Had the plumber come out again to fix our bathroom sink up and Nimoy was barking obnoxiously at him the entire time. Then, when he was leaving, Nimoy allowed him to pet him and give him butt scratches and NOW Nimoy is looking for his new best friend. Such a little weirdo.

A very happy dog left us some pee art at work. I see a pee person. 😂

I think when the universe heard that it was National Veterinary Receptionists Week, that meant it was supposed to throw *everything* it had at all. Holy crapola. Today has been insane. I feel like there was one stretch where the whole town showed up.

Here's hoping my coworker that was out sick Monday is better and comes in tomorrow so I'm not alone on the desk trying to juggle two doctors seeing appointments at the same time. I may cry in the corner if that's the case.
