My gumball machine is here!! I'm going to cover the sides in bookish stickers, I think. There's a small crack in the plastic and it's pretty foggy from age. Better to just decorate it and cover the blemishes. Cleaning it didn't help. I'll never be stuck on what to read next.
@Brisse Yeah, it's plastic. It's also got some deep scuffs and a crack. That's worth a try though. 👍
@sarcasmsign when I have plastic blanks for pens, I sand to 400 grit sandpaper and then hit it with headlight cleaner and it comes out looking like glass... Granted I'm sure it works better since it's on the lathe but even when I use it on plastics off the lathe it still does a great job.
@sarcasmsign it looks like plastic? if so headlight cleaner would buff the cloudiness and scratches out.
