Work was insane today. I implore you. Do NOT use retractable leashes at the vets office. We hate them. HATE! You have zero control with one. New clients came in today with their THREE crazy huskies on retractable leashes and chaos ensued. We ran to give them slip leads. I was like "Here, use this! Retractable leashes in the waiting room are a bad idea." Lady couldn't control her dogs and there was almost a full-on dog fight. #DogsOfCoSo

@DJ95X Yes, but even with brakes they cause problems. You can't easily manage 3 large dogs on retractable leashes in close quarters. It's just a horrible idea. An open field? Great. The beach? Sure. Not where you need them close to you and behaving. I've seen too many disasters. One dog even broke it's jaw when the owner dropped the handle and it came back and hit him in the face.
