I'd like to say a big sarcastic "THANKS" to the online dog-advice websites (there were several) who suggested putting down coffee grinds to stop dogs from digging up your lawn.

Not only did Rocky-beagle find the smell intensely PLEASANT, he roled in each hole, then ATE said grounds.

I now have a thoroughly caffeinated dog, whose coat smells of- and sheds coffee, who will probably grow coffee plants out his ass.

A Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate.
From me and one of the area’s swans who stopped by.

Today was my last day of work before being let go.

I managed to process all 5 stages of (unemployment) grief as I made my way to the bottom of a pint of ice cream.

Now, after acceptance, I’m free and positively excited as I make a champagne toast to the unknown future.

Salut!

The problem with spring is the leaves grow too slow and the blossoms go too fast.

Forget all the publicized issues.

The primary reason to ban TikTok is because of its never-ending crimes against food.

We’ve used the modern in English since the 16th Century. Language lover explores how every letter from A to Z got its start, the hidden meanings in each one, how they’ve changed over the years, and even where we got the word “alphabet” from. The whole U, V, W story is fascinating.

Now would be the perfect time for technologically advanced, easily provoked, gas-filled, floating extraterrestrials to visit us.

So the groundhog saw its shadow today signifying 6 more weeks of winter. Which just happens to be when Spring begins.🤔

Some years back, I wrote a little essay regarding this absurd little day: rlpastore.com/2017/02/03/groun

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost

A Great Blue Heron skimming above the waters of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, a beautiful sight on our very cold morning .

Friend: You mean you did absolutely nothing all day?

Me: No, no, far from it. I did absolutely nothing all weekend.

Attention of STEM MG fantasy:

‘Blues’ has a completely different connotation for me in winter vs summer.
