@Lindy Daddy long legs seems to be a generic name for a bunch of spiders that look like this one but are likely unrelated. This one's in Australia, which would be why it looks different to your local spiders

@redwolf If you sit quietly next to a pond, you'll see many of these, sometimes in flocks. Wait patiently and one or more will land on a leaf or stick to rest, like these. 👇🙂

@redwolf Good shot. 😊👍

Damselflies are beautiful, elegant and often hard to photograph with a cell phone camera, but I manage. Here's a few of mine. Enjoy. 🙂

@POOetryma If I'm near a pond, I don't get to sit a quietly wait for these guys (frustrating when there's huge emerald dragonflies I want a shot of) because I'm attach to a husky who wants to fling herself into to water and eat the ducks

@POOetryma Your photos are amazing. The blue and black stripy guy is lovely, but the iridescent guys are wow.

My guys mostly cruise the yard like tiny attack helicopters that never stop moving. I was lucky enough that one was polite enough to pose 🦊🧡

@Lindy Thanks! I don't think we get ebony lacewings here, but they are pretty 🦊🧡
