@Dreaw404 Gun control should be done through safety courses which have to be re-done regularly and strict licenses. Also, any violent crime of any kind should be an automatic lifetime ban on weapons, forever.

For the most part, I actually like Canada's model of gun control.

I'm seeing the farm debts many of my family is accruing in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range. Not being able to compete with selling on the market against subsidized mega farms.

To the leftwing I would say: Freedom isn't safe, there's always risk in freedom. You have to accept some aspects of risk and danger with freedom.

To the rightwing I would say: Tyranny and shooting people isn't a freedom, so stop selling guns to crazy people. If you can take away a felon's God-given right to vote as a citizen, then you can not sell guns to every nutcase who wants one. And if you think YOU are the nutcase they won't sell to. Maybe you shouldn't own a gun.

I also clearly said if Democrats want to hard earn Republican voters they have to show up AND actually do something.

Until you do that. You're not getting the bulk of Republican voters. Ever. It doesn't matter what argument you make. It's all existential to them.

And both parties subsidize mega farms. Every year.

Once I learned how to disconnect from the algorithm, I got to see it all.

Take my family. They barely watch TV. They definitely don't use the Internet much. They use Facebook. All their sources of news are radio and direct mailers.

How and where are they going to see the things they need to see? How are you going to get that to them without MAGA Republican slant?
