I'm chilling and watching the feed and I'm seeing things about businesses that are bad to shop in and what not.

Can someone explain how you all maintain such social consciousness? How do you all keep up with what's happening? How do you verify its factual or not?

I have a hard time keeping up with events in my own life, let alone everywhere else.

How do you keep up with it all?

I feel I'm not really socially conscious about things, but I'd like to do better.

@quinnsentialOne Personally I don't stress on it too much or go out of my way to find out. Real-life has bigger fish to fry so I would just do what you think is best and not feel pressured to do what's "right" because a bunch of people with iPhones are posting what a shit company XYZ is.

@VirginMaryCandle Yeah, I guess.

It makes me anxious though.

I was a problem, I supported the problems, etc.

I try to do better, but I'm so outside my bubble and my guiding lights are far and few between.

@quinnsentialOne Trust yourself, and have faith. The guilt is definitely hard to deal with but you're obviously a changed person. Make mistakes and grow, rediscover who you are as you move forward. You see the changes in your family so you can still recognize the "good" that is out there and its within you. The people who hold your past against you are not the good people they claim to be and are blinded by their own indoctrination.

@VirginMaryCandle Thank you. Guilt is something I carry a lot of. There's things I have to say about that, things I've done, but I don't know I'm ready to address those in a social post. 😞

@VirginMaryCandle I know a lot of people probably aren't religious believers here, but I am.

I sincerely believe I've already lost my place in Heaven, and I'll be disconnected from God's love in the afterlife.

All I can do is hope to bring back love, for myself and others, in the life I have left to give.

@quinnsentialOne Personally, I don't think God is that big of a jerk. He's already forgiven you, you just need to forgive yourself. Now if you murdered someone well, he may not be too happy about that but otherwise I think it's pretty difficult to really screw up your afterlife. I also don't equate "endlessly" or "eternal" as how we understand those terms because God is both endless and eternal, therefore it's God's time. He wants you in his presence even if there is a separation for a time.

@quinnsentialOne No need to. Social media is not a confessional and as long as you're straight with God you're good.
