I'm chilling and watching the feed and I'm seeing things about businesses that are bad to shop in and what not.

Can someone explain how you all maintain such social consciousness? How do you all keep up with what's happening? How do you verify its factual or not?

I have a hard time keeping up with events in my own life, let alone everywhere else.

How do you keep up with it all?

I feel I'm not really socially conscious about things, but I'd like to do better.

@quinnsentialOne I admit to having been a socially conscious shopper since I forced my mother to stop buying grapes in support of the Farm Workers (years ago. Buy grapes).

The news on most "bad actor" companies is fairly well established. Chik-Fil-A supports anti-gay legislation & funds Ugandan anti-gay laws (they kill gays). I know a fair number of gay folk who work at Chik.

Home Depot's CEO thinks Dems are stupid & says so on TV.

Hobby Lobby is Christofascist [period].

@jcsimonds Wow. Really?

I had no idea about any of these companies.

Is there somewhere I can read about that?
