absolutely will cause a fucking hissy fit among fascists if and when he bypasses Congress and uses executive / presidential power and the Fourteenth Amendment to keep 'Murica from defaulting. The good of the country demands it. It is time for him to showcase the tough skin he has grown on his long time in politics, and do it. Fascist calling him a tyrant are noise and mustn't stop the work of governing.

@publickovacs I don't disagree but always remember: It will be used against the Democrats too. Just like the crazy idea of increasing the SC. Instead of stopping the SC from being loaded with fascists we want to make it bigger. That idea sucks, we'll have fifty judges in no time with each side playing the game.

That is a valid point. However, I am increasingly less comfortable with assuming that if Dems hold back on something like court size, for fear the Reps will also do it, they can in fact avoid the Reps doing it. The two sides are playing two different games. The Reps will end up making all the sly moves.

@publickovacs The GOP is so much better at dirty tricks, that's primarily why the country sucks compared to my youth.

@MidnightRider
I will confess that more than once, I wished the Dems at least on occasion displayed the ruthlessness of the Reps. The Reps have a way of closing ranks that eludes the Dems. Reps wanted judges, justices, and courts for decades. Laser focused on it and got it done, with all of them in lockstep. Dems don't know how to do lockstep, sadly.

@publickovacs For starters, Joe has far more experience in Washington than MTG. With her filing articles of impeachment, he should be "back door Johnny" ruining her every way he knows how and smiling in her face.
