This is very uncharacteristic for me, but I want to offer a glimmer of hope: the two men of color expelled from the Tennessee legislature are really *young*. There are young politicians in this fucked up country who may yet save it.
@publickovacs these young men are leading...they are sick of seeing their communities being left behind and ignored and destroyed. Amazingly enough, these young men and women give me hope.
