This is very uncharacteristic for me, but I want to offer a glimmer of hope: the two men of color expelled from the Tennessee legislature are really *young*. There are young politicians in this fucked up country who may yet save it.

We need a resurgence of nonviolent civil rights/voting rights/LGBTQ/justice protest. Sit ins.
