So is it tacky to do a go fund me thing to finance a pet's surgery, particularly when a good outcome isn't guaranteed?

Have felt hesitant to have a backyard fire most of the summer when so many places have suffered devastating fires and whose smoke has drifted here, knowing I can’t know how hard it is for those folks. However it’s calm here tonight on the last night of August and I’ve missed camping so much for over five years.

@AlphaCentauri That totally sucks as a concept, (insurance cos have way too much power!) but most of these guys are just doing people's yards, for free - which is awesome - but still seem to think grass is the answer...

@yadayadayada The one you mentioned is in that "Canadian Journey" series which is polymer. It will still be legal currency. It's only the older paper ones that are being retired.

@yadayadayada If it's polymer - which I believe that one is - and not paper, it's still legal tender. They've intiated removed the 'legal tender' status from older paper bills, something I didn't know until I checked because of your question - so thanks... I'm going now to check under my mattresses 😄
