@prairiecelt we only had a quick look today . I get the impression it’s a summer holiday place. Now that the crowds are gone, it’s very quiet. Also, most of the restaurants are closed! We were starving till we found a great little place that made sandwiches called galettes. They were wonderful! 😋
@allin We were there in late October but it was really warm and lovely. We were staying in what we learned was the 'old town' only when we rented bikes and got far enough away to see the 'real' city skyline :-) No problem finding restaurants- had the best risotto of my life there and still try to recreate it 20 year later...
@prairiecelt We had a lovely time here, we will leave tomorrow. We walked all over the old part of town and took some photos, sat outside a cafe and drank some wine. The weather was lovely and the town is very interesting. Tomorrow we head to Bordeaux.
