I saw a 48 Hours where the jury believed the defense theory that the "real" murderer wiped his fingerprints and DNA off everything with a cloth he did not realize had the defendant's DNA on it. Somehow miraculously simultaneously removing his own and applying her DNA all over the scene. Which included around the victim's throat.

The defendant had access to huge amounts of money. I wonder if it made it's way into the jury room.
