Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) called on Americans to not give up in an urgent message on Thursday following President-elect Donald Trump’s election win.

“Let’s get loud and let’s get going because if a young woman in Florida, where a six-week ban is now the law of the land, can get up today and find her way through, we can too,” said the California representative in an interview with Ben Meiselas for the progressive MeidasTouch Network.

Two years ago, did you realize that you needed a bit of Dickinson in your daily life? Today is the second anniversary of my #DickinsonDaily posts – and there’s still so much more to come!

Yesterday, I posted “The fairest home I ever knew” from the section of “Poems Incomplete or Unfinished” in Millicent Todd Bianchi’s 1945 edition of previously unpublished poems by Dickinson, “Bolts of Melody.”

I realize this is not the greatest of times to ask for help and I feel bad doing it, but I don't know what else to do.

My partner and daughter are waiting for their employment insurance to start and we are in dire need of food for us and our pets. My daughter and I also take meds and we'll be running out in a couple of days.

Any help would be most appreciated. Like I said I know this isn't the best time and it may be difficult for some.💙☮🙏
