Why is the business press outreporting the left on COVID?
"Sadly, while human lives are cast aside by right and left-wingers alike, the only part of the political spectrum concerned about disabling the public are employers realizing they’re losing human capital."

@phool4xc What strategies do you see Biden's admin abandoning?
@GlennS In November 2022, the Supreme Court ruled that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) could, in fact, maintain mask mandates on planes and other modes of public transportation.
@phool4xc well, that one is significant, but is it the only example? In my area, SEPTA is maintaining mandates on buses but letting riders choose for themselves on trains. Many are wearing masks on trains.
@GlennS Local initiatives such as you mentioned are good, but are not enough. The CDC has finally urged people to mask where community transmission is high, but that's shutting the barn door after the horses have died in the fire.
Here's a brief thread on some of the shortcomings of the RECOVER Initiative.

@phool4xc what have they abandoned. They're pushing hard for the bivalent booster. Mask mandates are being shot down in court. The Biden admin is the one advocating for them. Yeah, there was some spin-doctoring coming into the midterms, but overall Biden and the CDC are working to make things better. It's Congress and the rightwing media, and a few morons on the left like the fool who wrote that NR article who are the problem
