Microsoft is bringing popular programming language Python to Excel. A public preview of the feature is available today, allowing Excel users to manipulate and analyze data from Python.

@b4cks4w I still haven't seen that Excel update in the beta channel.

@peterquirk we neither but looks like I get to wait . It uses their cloud but requires Windows somehow. 🤔 For now.

@b4cks4w The python code is executed on Azure and passed back it's result to Excel running on the PC. Dyalog APL employs a similar strategy when calling Python functions, though the Python engine can be on the PC or in the Anaconda cloud.
