The other rainy weekend when I was in the city, I saw that someone had torn bulbs and plants from a public container and thrown them on the ground several feet away.
So I stopped and put them back. I patted the dirt around them to help them "settle."
It seemed to me that, in a city of concrete, small pops of loveliness are particularly important.
That's what we have here, in CoSo--an oasis of beauty in a hostile and nasty landscape.
Protect it, have care for each other.
