@see_the_sus tough decision - obviously if it is him or desantis - the choice is clear
but yikes we got to have new blood and ideas - younger folks - term limits and more women of color
@see_the_sus indeed - we switched back to indy after becoming dems for the 1st time in yrs to vote against bigly biglie. but pelosi funding far right extremists thru her PAC to cut the red vote in 2022 was a bridge too far for us, nasty icky and stupid imo
She’s been nothing but a disappointment, IMO. I remember when she became Speaker I was excited to finally have a woman in that position. Well that excitement lasted less than a year.
@see_the_sus its the hidden agenda's that worry us. apparently potus played pick a little talk a little with muracowski who wanted the pipline to get her to vote on other things he wanted. the public really has no idea what these folks are up to once they get inside.
Precisely.
Tit-for-tat.
Lobbyists.
Legislation filed that is filled with other legislative crap that has nothing to do with the primary bill all so that votes can be won by those who wouldn’t have voted for it.
@see_the_sus a nutz system that has benefitted the lobbyists i.e. big money always.
@pennyphilosophy
I’m done playing the “we must vote for the lesser of two evils just to keep the really bad evil out.”
If the candidate I want isn’t on the ballot, I’ll write them in.
I switched to Socialism over 20 years ago and changed my voter registration to Independent 15 years ago.
