I only tune in just as they are announcing best picture. The rest of it is just unnecessary. I love movies but I don’t have the patience to sit through three hours of ego flapping with one hour of “what are you wearing” red carpet, vomit inducing fawning before. The movies are what matters, not some frock.

Besides last year descended into such a shit show it overshadowed everything. Will Smith should have settled his beef with Chris Rock behind the HW/Highland complex instead.
