@BlueStateBabe No, but it might be necessary.

Hope you can get it sorted. Knee surgery gave me my life back. Good luck mate.
@stueytheround @peemee @BlueStateBabe one of my work colleagues didn't have a knee operation when advised and is now facing Hip and Knee problems which are interrelated.
@Mauve_matelot @stueytheround @BlueStateBabe GP reckons I’m not yet in the right age group for knee replacement. An aunt had a knee replacement done when she was 86. It only lasted 17 more years...
@peemee Mine was a repair rather than replacement. I was 20. 30 years on and going strong!
@peemee @Mauve_matelot @stueytheround I have had many friends and acquaintances with this surgery in the 50-60 year age range. All of them liked the outcome, from what I understand.

When I broke my leg and had a "walking cast", I couldn't believe how much damage using the cast did to my hip! Months after the cast was gone, the hip was still recovering. Now, 4 years later, I think it is as back to normal as it is going to get.
@peemee Sorry to hear that.
