I suspect there are many of us atheists or agnostics who also share the values I believe Jesus promoted. Unfortunately, however, Christians don’t seem to agree about what these values are!
Why is it, religion is tied to, "go forth, and hate half those I created in my image"? I am not afraid to be an atheist in a world where Christians and Republicans spit in his face.

since i had to go to church, at least mass had more than just someone sermonizing for an hour, i thought at the time.

@normsmusic In the 80s I visited Huntsville Alabama for work and two revivals were going on right across the street from each other. Huge tent revivals with hundreds of people each. One was totally white, the other totally Black. I don't know about the theology at each, but we dropped in on the one that had much much better music.
When I was a child I committed a mortal sin by having a Protestant friend.

@normsmusic People who think they are Christians and that overthrowing our government is their God-given right are wrong about at least two things.
Christians are saying Mike Pence is not a Christian because he would not help overthrow our government.
Chris Christie says he is surprised Trump's lawyer did not ask to have his trial date, to be set for 6 months after his death.
