Normalizing political lying, or accepting falsehoods as an inevitable part of politics, can have serious negative consequences for democracy and society as a whole. When lying becomes normalized, it undermines public trust in institutions and the credibility of elected officials. This can lead to a breakdown in democratic processes, as people may become less likely to participate in elections or may not believe in the legitimacy of their elected representatives.

@normsmusic Here is the thing.. If you know our REAL history, you would know that lying has been the foundation of politics for brown/black/women citizens for centuries!! And the accompanying violence for "non-compliance" to the powerful whitemen has been falsehood's partner. Y'all are aware since last week because it finally affects YOU!

@normsmusic I will add that this knowledge only strengthens my resolve to work with you to get this cray back into the not dark.. but blinding blizzard corners of our country, where power is no longer attainable by these nutjobs.
