The snugglebuds sharing my chair with me. I guess Simmy the cat is a pretty good pillow. (Actually, Button the big white dog is his BFF. It was love at first sight. She loves Rupert, the little dog, too.)

@XanHart @northernbassist When I was younger, i considered moving to AK, because the male-to-female ratio offered better odds for finding a mate. A co-worker who'd lived there a couple of years told me "The odds are good, but the goods are odd."

@MrsSpear Adopt an adolescent or young adult cat, instead. Kittens are best in pairs. They keep each other amused, and out of a lot of trouble they'd otherwise get into. I have a trio of 2-year old brothers adopted as kittens - they're still best friends.

@barrett In MI, the redistricting will be done by a non-partisan panel. We voted for this on a proposal on the 2018 ballot. The panel's already been chosen. I'm hoping to get redistricted out of the one I'm currently in.

@RandomNYer I hand-process fleece, I spin, I do a little dyeing, I knit, and I weave. Thinking about trying needle-punch. Have lost my mojo this last year, but will spend the next 11 weeks caking up all my yarn so I can start something on Inauguration Day. :)
