Not sure why but I can't get to Settings bc when I hit the 'Back' button in the column on the far right of page it takes me back to the previous page I had open, which was Google ???

try clicking on your highlighted name on any post you've written.
This should put your profile into the right-hand column.
Beside the blue button "Edit Profile"click the 3 vertical dots.
