SCOTUS indicated that they will be issuing an opinion on *some* thing Monday by 11 AM (EST).
not sure if it's the TX filings or not, but we shall see...
Per the SCOTUS website:
"The US Supreme Court will release an order list at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 14."
"The Court may announce opinions on Monday, December 14. The Court will not take the Bench. Opinions will be posted on the homepage beginning at 10 a.m."
I guess I’m confused. What’s an “order” in the Texas case likely to look like since they aren’t going to hear the case?

Alito & Thomas already indicated that they would be open to hearing this case.
No decision on that has yet been made.
Orders could be anything from ordering more replies from the Defendant states to any additional parties that SCOTUS decides/ed to allow, or similar nature, all the way up to/including an Order for Preliminary Injunction, a Stay, or even a TRO.
