Cooler day in Ottawa today 🍁
Can you recommend any great / authors that have helped you grow stronger in some way? My life has improved through the teachings of such as Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra :-)

OH DEAR. THIS POST WAS SET TO SELF-DETONATE 💣 💥 🔥

@misterpete Tarthang Tulku's work on TSK, time/space/knowledge takes consciousness into new dimensions.

@misterpete you're welcome. Shinzen Young's videos are excellent too, although sometimes the sound quality is not. most are good though.

@misterpete Thoreau’s Walden; Hermann Hesse’s Siddhartha, Demian, Steppenwolf; W.S. Maugham’s Of Human Bondage; Thomas Wolfe’s Look Homeward, Angel.

I love Tara Brach too, her podcasts, and Radical Acceptance. Jack Kornfield podcasts and The Wise Heart.

@misterpete I have audio by Tolle that I drift off to sleep with now and then.

"On Having No Head" by Douglas Harding made a big impression on me years ago, although it might have been the weed I was smoking just a day or so I came across a copy in an NYC bookstook in the Village. I can't say I'm improved.

I like that Alan Watts never, so far as I read, ever claimed to be more that an entertainer. My favorite phrase from him: If you got the message, hang up the phone.
