Follow
a bicycle isn't inherently spooky
very quiet in motion
person is almost entirely
on top of the bicycle
the cougar is seeing
a crouched over mammal
in motion at a speed
they can easily overtake
if a cougar is staking
out a game trail
would hang out
on the uphill side
all the better to run and pounce
when something goes by
a bicycle trail thru the woods
would be a game trail
it would attract deer
and other animals
because it provides easy access
thru the woods
