TTLDR: does gerrymandering

TLDR:

"There’s no way the US Congresspeople won't become LESS representatives of their constituencies every year quicker, bc Census cannot keep up with the rapid population shifts that are already happening"

"Our fear of AI’s potential is emblematic of humanity’s larger difficulty recognizing intelligence in unfamiliar guises."

Or, maybe, we fear being screwed by the few who CONTROL AI

Just maybe

"why is there so little about this in the news? Both @guardian & @repubblica bury any env news after the sports section. @nytimes gives less space to... devastating species loss, deforestation, starvation than they to recipes"

Many parents just aren't well versed enough in nutrition, cooking, or financial literacy. My family has adhd & are all basically terrible with money. I couldn't learn anything about finances from her. I'd have loved to have the opportunity to learn it. Also, 401ks, IRAs, stocks & bonds, etc.

We have to break the cycle somewhere. This is a great way to do it.

Life skills workshops (, , financial literacy) to help students transition to independent living

Sure, much of this stuff belongs to , NOT schools

But why aren't such courses mandatory in EVERY university?

Four years ago, I was

"depressed, not because I do not have full time work anymore, but exactly because I still (must) have it."

How many of you feel the same for the same reasons, today?

Recently, it was revealed that the Florida Department of Protection was working on plans to develop several state parks. This drew criticism, as many see the land as needing to be protected, especially as several parks were slated for golf courses, sometime we don't lack here.

Now, the Whistleblower has been fired and is speaking out, saying he couldn't help this plan and needed to speak out.
