@mfioretti

It's sad how a once hugely-respected company has turned into an object of scorn, and all through their own terrible decisions.

I pitched our HP printer when I discovered that to scan anything with it, they demanded I set up an ACCOUNT first.

Dude, if you want me to join your club, you can give me the printer for FREE, and send me INK every month.

We replaced it with an Epson ink-tank printer. No complaints so far. Not having to throw out ink cartridges is a win, I'd say.

Never, EVER buy HP printers:

"Woman warns against HP printers after canceling subscription. It won’t let her print anything"

, take note:

"what feels really otherworldly in series like , and therefore constitutes their REAL appeal. It's not the superpowers that make giant superlizards explode. It's seeing kids as young as 11 free to spend whole days unsupervised, because their parents won't call 911 the first time they don't text back within 30 minutes."

I agree. Here's my proposal to do just that:

but I REALLY have to ask: what Mrs Aitkenhead did was basically to "reinvent" (cfr the Brownsea camp of 1907). Why is this not mentioned at all? Seriously.

My friend Ken Hess just wrote _An Introduction to Podcasting_. isn't my thing, but perhaps you'll find the book useful? amzn.to/3M98guU

Hell no. 100% wrong. There will be humans who also use the variety of software called AI to do their things.

Keep the right perspective, people

The pure non-existence of enough raw stuff to keep doing Business As Usual (BAU) is maybe the most ignored fact of our time.

But BAU is NOT a law of nature and, unlike BAU, solutions compatible with reality exist:
