@matuzalem I heard that and wonder how illegal immigrants are affording new homes if they're also sucking up our welfare dollars, Medicaid and a largely untrained, lazy, lunatic mob.
I'm not at all sure that anyone's made the claim that undocumented immigrants are buying new houses with bank-issued mortgages.
It's a fact that if people exist and can pay for housing, then the housing they pay for is no longer on the market for other people who want housing, too. That includes people who rent housing.
I don't see how you get to "the CBS moderators are peddling propaganda in the hopes of getting their taxes cut".
I further hope that we're not backing a stance that undocumented immigrants should be DENIED housing, especially if they're able to pay for it from whatever earnings they make.
As CBS correctly points out, the housing crisis is a supply-and-demand issue.

I think CBS was being facetious because they aren’t speaking to people who understand nuisance and so they are perpetuating JD’s lies. What I posted were people’s comments without quotes. 🙄 I really should’ve.

My comment was just to point out the contradictory claims of immigrants as both lazy freeloaders and new homebuyers.
(Much like Colonel Jessup's claim that Santiago wasn't to be touched (and everybody followed orders) yet Santiago was in grave danger)

@chuck34108 @mcfate I really hate the word illegal. I’ve been called an illegal by ignorant Irish NYC cops. They even called me a wet bag. To which I retorted: “please call me the correct racial insult. I am Puerto Rican, a spic. I came here to mop your house and clean your car. And you still owe me money ”
