You know certain adults currently demanding ‘parental rights’ over the bodies of their children? I would have thought that the 13th & 14th amendments to the US constitution would have prevented things like this from happening.
@mattlibrarian But then, I'm appalled that there are still people who think it is okay to strike children.
@mattlibrarian There's a lot of laws that we act like don't apply to children, that involve their bodily autonomy, speech, and more.
