How do I put my avatar up so it stays? I've tried several times. I chose the pic, but it won't stay. Tried "save changes", but the button did nothing.

I’m Going to have to update my lists with so many new and great people, arriving!

If you haven’t done it already, create lists on your desktop version. You can make “Best of Lists” favorite Hashtag lists, etc.

Pinning these as columns allows you to see everything at a glance., like in TweetDeck.

In the mobile apps, it’s a bit different. The Firehose is the default, although you can swipe left or right to see your columns.
