These young men are listening to Nick and Andrew Tate who flaunt nice houses and cars on social media. These converts won't take these jobs because it's beneath them. They think because they're not CEOs that it's our fault. No it's the messaging you're getting. Grow up!

@GlytchMeister Truth! Could you imagine if he planned to do a sweep of reservations? Native Americans would be pissed. Which brings up a good point. My understanding is the government put them there and provides some assistance but don't they govern themselves? That means they're not governed by our Constitution and our laws (To a degree)?

Shit, everywhere has immigrants
Chicago has a whole-ass Chinatown for fuck's sake, and when I was a cashier up by Elgin, I had so many spanish-speaking customers that it started to activate what I learned in high school.
Hell, even Peoria has a bunch of immigrants, and we're flyover country. People out in the country think the rural areas don't have immigrants but they definitely do.
Not to mention, anyone who isn't Native American is... Uh... Not native.
When I can get a breather I'm going to post some graphics here on protest safety for people with disabilities. A new Facebook friend from Australia posted them but the information translates anywhere. Just some caveats: The bent of the graphics is related to Pro Palestine protests but again the tips are universal. Second there is a word I don't like in the text, "Crips.". obviously there it's not a slur but in the US it is. I urge you to sub the word for whatever you like.

The 2008 HBO miniseries John Adams has a love scene in period-appropriate clothes which takes this on directly. It was kind of sweet and thoroughly ridiculous.
@ExPatExp88 I think it was yesterday. Part of the reason I made a hasy exit and didn't even say bye. It's increasingly obvious that celebrity or not, if you say anything negative against the Trump/Musk bromance you're going to feel the heat. And X numbers have been in a steady decline over porn, fraudulent ads, and lack of moderation. Taking the block feature away was the last straw for a lot of us. It's much safer on CoSo.

I won't shed a single tear for anyone who chose to vote for Trump. They deserve all the pain and suffering they will experience over the next four years. Hopefully it will teach them a hard lesson about the consequences of their choices.

(Dog walk report 11/12) Cosmo wants you to know: the sky is clear, and the temps are cool and pleasant. We heard our first hootie owl in the new neighborhood.
