I think we accidentally started an underground railroad for kittens cos like, a few months back there was this street cat that turned up, saw her at the neighbours and she looked real unhealthy and super rough, very thin and like she hadn't eaten in a long while. She was super friendly and talky so started feeding her and slowly she let us like pick her up and she'd fall asleep by the door and stuff, basically made it her home. explores during the day, tough as nuts and staunches out mums dogs.

I think as a society we should treat misogyny as a kink so that it becomes unacceptable in public cos its a 'sex thing' the same way that trans people used to be.

Its unnerving to get caught unawares with a ptsd trigger. Seeing the person who abused you still wearing your necktie and playing your music, still feeding into the bs story they made up about you. Being able to tell someone that they are no longer welcome in our world after they hurt us in a deeply vulnerable time has to be one of the most difficult things I've done in a long time. 10+ years of friendship that they threw away for nothing. Being able to say "I'm choosing me because you didn't" feels very much like reclaiming my voice. Putting the past to rest and moving forward. Some people don't deserve to be in your space, even if they were for a long time ❤️

emotions are so consuming and music is being completely overtaken by them and the last few years have been so many painful and difficult things that I wasn't sure if it'd kill me or not to actually feel them. It felt so unsafe in my own head that I couldn't write, couldn't let myself feel anything because thats what abusive relationships with narcissists are like and I was scared that the emotions would come and never stop.
