Finally managed to figure out setting up the LED lights in the new studio build thingie. Excuse the mess aaaand lack of decoration. Its a work in progress while getting the lighting rigged haha. Whole house can now be different shades of pink (or any colour really). #phdm also we managed to get more of the next 3 comics written. just saw The Marvels. Honestly really enjoyed it, lots of laughs (with nephew and grandad). Post-credits was :O but the film itself was a solid 7.5/10. Kamala Khan absolutely stole the show but it was the first time that Bree Larson really felt humanised in the MCU ❤️

The Creator was a very good film. The parallels to modern life are all too apparent. Always reminds me of the idea that so many people are afraid of AI because of the idea that something they subjugate and control might actually have sentience and rise up against them. When you're a minority who has been at the hands of that, it tends not to be scary but more of a rallying cry to change. The Creator definitely puts itself in the 'humanity is a choice' camp. Beautifully shot and well worth seeing

Parents celebrated Ellies bday on halloween just gone. Its a pretty monumental thing for us, for her finally getting to celebrate and grow older. Having to pull out of the only show we've been booked for in 3 years because of still healing from a back injury and abusive relationship trauma sucks a LOT. Have to keep reminding ourselves that its not a personal failure to put recovery first and to not be able to force recovery into a timeline that fits what we want to be doing. Still feels disappointing af though. When we eventually make it back to shows it'll be on our terms and all the better for it.
