That was really nice to hear. But I'll take all the luck anyone wants to push my way.

I know there was some unintended dental work yesterday, but the jaw hasn't felt this bad since I was accidentally hit in the face by a hockey goalie who was trying to clear the puck.

getting a late-night call from the East Coast is not a good way to wind down for sleep. in fact, it does the exact opposite of winding down and sleep.

it is a pretty great day when friends, colleagues, supervisors all send you a great job opening (that is absolutely in my wheelhouse) and encourage me to apply. taking nothing for granted. will absolutely make my best showing for this. but I love the support!

Finished Star Wars Outlaws. Really enjoyed the story and play. Definitely had a “HOLY 💩!” moment toward the end of the story. Side missions to still clean up though.
our #DnD party has decided we are murder fluid (instead of murder hobos). and the theme of tonight adventure was ....
friend is contemplating surgeries to repair various injuries (old and new). I counseled him to get it done and improve his quality of life, having done the same in my (counting.. 1, 2, 3 ... !) 9 surgeries that I've had. just a reminder that I am a cautionary tale and not to be emulated.
