listening to my Diablo playlist on Spotify as I prep for tonight's D&D adventure. because if fighting The Prime Evils doesn't inspire challenges, what will?

new headshots from Roger Knoph Photography are in. here are the two that we think are best, but which one do you like?

Jim Ward, a longtime game designer for the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop game, passed away. Ward began his game career in 1976 with his and Rob Kuntz's Gods, Demi-Gods & Heroes rulebook for TSR and went on be inducted into the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design Hall of Fame in 1989.

chatting about liches and dracoliches this morning. as one does while enjoying a nice cup of Earl Grey.

Five assists tonight and lots of overpassing. The winter pond season is winding down, and I’m hitting my stride. 🐐 🏒

what a day. meeting new people is great. meeting new people who want to help you and could possibly change your life for the good is even better. I hope they feel the same way. I could use a trajectory change.

the last time I got a professional headshot done, it was by a cadaver photographer. Roger Knopf Photography did a much better and more alive photography today. Can't wait to share the work.

my subconscious has had enough. I was challenging, fighting, and winning against nightmares last night. what's next?

It took most of the day, but turning a pork butt into pulled pork sandwiches was worth the time and effort. Done in the oven.

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep in Borderlands 2 always gets me right in the feels at the end of the story. One of the most emotional video game endings for me.

Bacon and eggs are a great way to start any recipe. When added to a pasta dish, it is a meal that could go either as dinner or breakfast. Then again, I’m a big proponent of breakfast at dinner.

Next Seattle Cafe Passport experience takes us to Weat Seattle for Sound & Fog. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I got an Irish Goodbye, made with a beer reduction syrup. Delicious! ☕️ 🍺

grocery store clerk: "Any fun plans for the holiday weekend?"

me: "holiday?"

clerk: "St. Patrick's Day!"

me: "oh! probably waiting to see what others are doing."

reality: "don't lie. you forgot and you are staying home anyway."

shut up, reality!

why am I staying up and watching Starcraft cinematics? this is my Friday night.

Arthur’s plans for the weekend are already in effect. He’s very organized about his relaxation. 🐱

if you get good news with the potential for even better news later, do you share the good news with family and friends (thus sharing the good feelings) or do you keep it quiet or in a tight circle (for fear of jinxing the future)?

and why are our brains acting this way????

Dinner with a friend and former Wizards colleague was highly enjoyable. Talked about our individual journeys forward, our joined (but too brief) past, and what we’re doing for fun these days (D&D for both of us). Great to see you, Light!
