Didn’t go to bed last night (this morning) until 3 am. Still having my typical MagicCon experience without actually being in Chicago. And without having all the fun with my friends and the MTG media/community. 😢

it can be hard (and wow, do I know this to be true), but slowing down and enjoying time spent with a friend can be the most rewarding time I can spend. I have been doing that more recently but not nearly as much as I should.

Taquitos are the superior version of taco only because you can walk around with them and not worry about the insides completely spilling out. A friend was gushing about their jalapeno poppers, and I decided to take on a grand experiment by combining the two flavors. #larryskitchen

rescued kitten update: She's doing much better. Eye meds, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds are being administered. She has a warm bed, wet and dry food, a litter box, and gets daily snuggles at the vet clinic. She's still a little unstable but they think it could be a soft tissue injury or residual effects from her head injury. They're keeping an eye on that.

I mean, it had to happen, right? I still want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I had my first ghosting yesterday. the odd thing is they reached out to me to initiate the conversation. on the plus side, I am having more conversations with people/companies/contacts, so that's a good thing.

If I was going to drink this much bourbon tonight, I probably should have eaten more than ravioli with a tomato cream sauce.

Apparently, he got a little too warm. 🐱

update: kitten did get hit the truck. may have head trauma. spending a few days with the vet. approximately 16-18 weeks old. they'll let us know what happens next.

K called me to let me know she rescued a kitten that was nearly run over by a vehicle (jerk). On her way to the vet with the furball, but we may end up with another kitty. Stay tuned...
