I mean, it had to happen, right? I still want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I had my first ghosting yesterday. the odd thing is they reached out to me to initiate the conversation. on the plus side, I am having more conversations with people/companies/contacts, so that's a good thing.

If I was going to drink this much bourbon tonight, I probably should have eaten more than ravioli with a tomato cream sauce.

update: kitten did get hit the truck. may have head trauma. spending a few days with the vet. approximately 16-18 weeks old. they'll let us know what happens next.

K called me to let me know she rescued a kitten that was nearly run over by a vehicle (jerk). On her way to the vet with the furball, but we may end up with another kitty. Stay tuned...

unexpectedly spent the day getting my skates repaired. but having your tools and equipment in working order means a greater opportunity to think about the enjoyment you are having. as opposed to having a skate blowout at speed and the end boards are looming .... again. #HockeyAsLifeLessons

during last night's hockey game, I found myself "being a captain" again by imagining and suggesting plays, providing advice and assistance when asked, trying to encourage and inspire my teammates, being a leader. in other words, being myself.
