Some good news on the family front. Trying to keep positive for my parents and put my own problems aside for now. Plus vibes please.
Franklin, Washington, was a coal mining town established in the 1880s, but it was abandoned in 1919 after the mine shut down. A ghost town now, the mine shaft, a cemetery, and some overgrown stone walls and foundations are all that remain.
Have I accomplished all I wanted to this year? No.
Did I make great strides with my health and lifestyle? Also no.
But am I mentally and emotionally in a very good place? Listen….

my brain is so full of chaos. even when I try to calm my thoughts, it spins into history, areas of confusion, or just mundane things. the engine is running hot, but I have yet to be going anywhere. so this is how the insanity begins ... or my inevitable supervillain turn.
as a DM, the hardest thing for my players to wrap their heads around is when I create an encounter that has absolutely no meaning other than to mess with them. they think something very sinister is going on ... every time. I'm so happy.
